WELCOME TO NGAGE!

When you use our services, you are trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control. Ngage believes you should always know what data we collect from you and how we use it, and that you should have meaningful control over both. We want to empower you to make the best decisions about the information that you share with us. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information.

Ngage is a public service; therefore, content posted is immediately viewable and searchable by anyone. When you use Ngage, even if you are just browsing, at minimum we receive some personal information from you like the type of device you are using and your internet protocol (IP) address. Any information we obtain is used for keeping your account secure and showing you more relevant content. You have control through your settings to limit the data we collect from you and how we use it, and to control things like account security, marketing preferences, applications (apps) that can access your account, and address book contacts you have uploaded to Ngage.

In addition to the information you share with us, we use your content, content you have read, Liked, or Disliked, and other information to determine what topics you’re interested in, your age, the languages you speak, and other signals to show you more relevant content. We give you transparency into that information, and you can modify or correct it at any time. If you have questions about this policy, how we collect or process your personal data, or anything else related to our privacy practices, we want to hear from you.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You do not have to create an account to use some of our features; however, if you do create an account, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide our service to you. The minimum information you must provide is a display name, a username, a password, and an email address or phone number. Your display name is always public; you can use either your real name or a pseudonym. You can also create and manage multiple Ngage accounts to express different parts of your identity.
