On 22 September 2018, Umberto wed in an intimate civil ceremony at Barolo, Piedmont, Italy, having a reception at Michelin-starred, La Morra. "Umberto and I met in Barolo (within the heart of the wine-making part of the Langhe, Piedmont, Italy) in the summer of 2013 in an outdoor Jamiroquai concert during that which was supposed to become, for me, a two-week Italian vacation. A few days later, we returned to Barolo for an additional outdoor event."
