FFTP CAT7 Cables Manufacturers' Cat7 can also support 10 Gbps, but laboratory tests have successfully shown that it can transmit up to 40 Gb at 50 meters, and even 100 Gb at 15 meters. The newer "Class F" cabling can support frequencies up to 600 Mhz. In other words, Cat7 has not been approved as a telecommunications cable standard.
Cat7 provides extensive shielding to reduce signal attenuation and is relatively stiff compared to previous generations of wiring. Both individual wire pairs are shielded, and there is an additional layer of shielding on the entire cable. The shielding layer needs to be grounded, and Cat7 also needs a special GigaGate45 (GG45) connector to take full advantage of the higher performance characteristics.
All in all, the performance of Cat6a is almost the same as Cat7, but the price is lower. Most of our AV and IP surveillance customers choose Cat6a STP or Cat6a FTP. Both can shield external crosstalk and interference around high-voltage lines.
UTP Cat7 Patch Cord Cable's Cat7 is suitable for data centers and large enterprise networks.
