Old canned food can be obtained by searching the boxes in the Lost Ark. Travel to the Ice Sea region on the Shushir continent, where you can find this culinary collectible.
Where to find old canned food in Shushira
Players should head to the southwest side of the map near the outskirts of the port, as shown on the map below. There are two paths available at this location. Take the one that goes down, and then proceed to the place with a canopy. Nearby will be an NPC selling fish. Examine the area next to the fish barrel.

Old cans are on the floor. You can find old canned food by checking your inventory and right-clicking. Your Sim will eat it and comment on how bad it tastes.
Once you clear the area in the first Shushira missions, you can do it quickly. You won't have much reason to come back because there's nothing else to do in this part of the Ice Sea.
