Once you get to jad level, brew/sup the complete stats and the ranging pot and switch on the range prayer. If he hits you it is your first task to figure out what attack you're facing next. You should you should only brew/sup/range in between prayer switches. If it's the RS gold healers, it is recommended that you are praying eagle eyes/steel skins and then either kill them or tank them one at a time. The latter is easier when it comes to time but potentially more dangerous. Good luck.
If you want to improve your stats, I'd suggest 85 Attack and Strength and 80 Defense. You can choose to use less stats, but it's not efficient getting slow kills/not enough kills per trip. It would be nice to get Eadgars Ruse done, simply because it's a quicker method to reach GWD. I'd also recommend getting the required Summoning level to at least have a War Tortoise for storage of items.
I tried to make the armour in order to not be too costly, for instance a Divine Spirit Shield would be the best shield to use but not everybody can afford that. I hope this was helpful, if you'd like an inventory, inquire. Usually it's not too hard to come up with a solution.
Which barrows should I buy torags or guthans? Both are affordable for me. Additionally, since I'm planning on the barrows set, should i put aside my plans for a fighter torso? Also , what do I do using my dragon's platelegs, and rune platebody?
If you're interested in a Barrows set, I'd recommend Veracs. The skirt and helm provide the strongest defenses for their position (of the armours of the barrows) and the brassard is less durable than Torag's, Guthan's or the plates of Dharok. The brassard, however, Verac's is a nice prayer reward (unlike other armours from the barrows) and is a great set special.
Now, I understand it's your turn to have Dragon Legs and you're aiming at a torso of a fighter, so what I'd suggest your to consider is to keep those as your main armor, but carry a Guthan's set with you for use with its special attack to heal.
Your main armor set will not degrade and offensive friendly (torso has a strength advantage, not unlike barrows). Also keep in mind that in addition to Dharok's and Verac's in certain situations however, all other Barrows set (including that weapon) are ineffective.
So , the best 3 options for you in my opinion include: Versac's skirt/Dragon Legs and Fighter torso as well as Abyssal whip/Dragon Defender (you can have a Guthan's set to heal you in addition to this). Torag's Plate and Legs along with Whip and Defender. This offers a high level of defense but for the majority of scenarios it's nearly redundant as you don't suffer much damage anyways. The Verac's Brassard and rs07 fire cape service Skirt along with whip. The whole set is used to perform certain tasks such as Kalphite queen and barsrows and PvP.
