New World is a sedate, simpler MMO, and for some, the focus on leveling will be the primary reason to play. But playing New World can get frustrating if you don't know how to level up to 60. Many twists, turns, and blocks prevent you from getting to the next level. In order to make your game go a bit easier and get farther along, this guide will teach you how to level fast in New World, regardless of whether you are a new player or an experienced one.
Check The Town Project Board
Every settlement has a town project board with a range of quests you can grab, each contributing progress towards an active Town Project. These quests are straightforward, requiring you to craft certain items to explore a particular part of the map. Each quest you complete will further a Town Project's progress while granting your character some XP and New World Coin. Town Board quests refresh every 30 minutes, so be sure to check back frequently for easy quests to complete.
Do 3 Faction Missions Daily
Faction quests are your best bet for leveling quickly in New World. Around level 10, you'll be able to join one of three factions: the Marauders, Covenant, or the Syndicate. All three factions will offer six faction quests at any time, evenly split between PvE and PvP objectives. Every day, the first three factions quests you turn in will give twice as much XP. This bonus is shown on the top-left of the faction missions UI as "Daily Bonuses Available." Be sure you take full advantage of this bonus to get some easy XP. So regardless of what you choose to do, you'll want to do at least three of these quests per day to take advantage of the daily bonuses, which will maximize your experience points gained.
Complete The Main Quest
The Main Quests of New World will cover almost all of Aeternum alongside NPC interactions, lore, settlements, and more. The main story in the New World is definitely something players need to be progressing on, as it rewards a large amount of experience for each quest and unlocks the Azoth staff and the ability to do higher-level expeditions and content. But it's important to avoid deviating too much from the main quest path and where it takes you.
Pick The Territory Standing XP Bonus
As you increase your Territory Standing, each level of standing offers you a set of three bonuses you can choose from. These bonuses are all predetermined and appear at specific times throughout the Territory leveling process. For the purposes of leveling up faster, you'll always want to select the increased XP perk at every turn. It won't be available whenever your territory standing goes up, but always selecting it when it is available helps you squeeze out as much experience from quests and activities as possible.
Take Advantage Of Rest XP
This is probably the easiest way to increase your leveling speeds, albeit also the least impactful. You gain Rest XP by logging off in a settlement. Be sure to log off in a town to accumulate Rest XP on your character, kickstarting the leveling process once you log back on. This 100% bonus is then rewarded after doing anything that rewards experience. The bonus is not particularly huge, but every little bit helps, especially if you are only playing for a few hours each day or every other day.
These are all the best tips to help you to level up quickly in New World. But not that you've covered the basics, you can be successful. Advancing to each new level in New World takes time and commitment from players. There are a lot of tasks and extra classes you'll need to accomplish to move forward. Now join New World in the experience and take part in a true gaming journey.
